As the delivery competition got fiercer, Sorot, now managing director of Chefxpress Co. Ltd. took another step ahead by rebranding the service to ‘Chefxpress.com’ – a no mark-up delivery service. Orders now can be made via its interactive website, traditional call center and menu directory. Orders can be paid by credit card. Tracking system has recently been installed for customers to check their food on the way. There are famous dishes from more than 100 restaurants.

There are more than 18,000 customers in the database, making three or four orders a month. Eighty per cent are expatriates. Chefxpress receives more than 100,000 orders a year with Bt 500 – Bt 1,600 on the average.
To create its corporate identity, Chefxpress logo is attached in front of all partner restaurants. The business model has already been expanded to Pattaya under ‘Waiter on Wheels’ where food from more than 30 restaurants is included in the list.
