In a previous work, the authors developed a novel strategy
to stabilize mesoporous ceramic oxides up to high temperatures
. Contrary to widely employed high temperature stabilization
treatments inside the mesoporous template, resistance to thermal
processes is achieved by getting the simultaneous presence
of amorphous and crystalline phases before the template removal,
taking profit of the so called self-limited grain growth regime
. Using this strategy, stabilization of mesoporous structures
is achieved up to temperatures as high as 1000 ◦C.
