Well, toilets don't have doors and use curtains instead (in one room the curtain didn't even close it completely although they easily changed the room for us), then in the second room shower heater was broken and nobody understood or cared. It's not too far away from Tesco Lotus and BTS station but you should take (very cheap, usually about 20 baht) motorbike taxi back and forth because walking for more than a kilometer isn't exactly a pleasant experience. Then Ekkamai bus station is just in a couple stations away so catching a bus to/from Pattaya is very easy. Siam (and other BTS lines), on the other hand, is a bit far away, nine stations, so every time you go to explore the city would involve about an hour of transportation or so. No microwaves/kitchen areas as far as I can say. Vegetarian restaurant around the corner is actually closed. It has a small and very cold pool on the roof but I never swam at it. But you can use the roof as a smoking area if you don't want to go downstairs and outside every time (at least I did and nobody minded). Overall, I will try something else next time.
