Chris Brown, chief of one of Australia's largest ad agencies, makes a rule not to bring the office home with him on weekend.
"I do my best to focus on being in the moment and giving 100 per cent commitment to whatever I am doing, without bringing other elements of my life with me," he said.
"This provides an opportunity to switch off and ensures that when I am back in ‘work mode' I have had some time to refresh and re-energise."
Time with his family, including his eldest daughter who was born with Down Syndrome, is especially important to him on weekends because his days at work during the week are long.
"With family life comes considerable personal growth and has also provided me a real sense of perspective," he said.
