Hotel Chains Operations Coordinator
The Hotel Chains Operations Coordinator reports to the Hotel Chain Operations & Implementation Manger in London. The Hotel Chains Operations Coordinator will process the set up and maintenance of data relating to both new and existing chain and hotel connectivity agreements.
Your day to day activities will comprise of, but not limit to
KEY ACTIVITIES
Participate in the initial set-up and ongoing quality control of hotel property shell, loading of room, rate and tax codes, ensuring properties are built accurately and made available for sale according to pre-determined deadlines.
Provide daily support to hotel s and internal teams through the handling and investigation of queries relating to Dynamic Inventory properties.
Examination of circumstances surrounding queries raised, documenting examples and ensuring clear procedure is in place for handling of future similar queries.
Provide general day to day operational support as part of the Implementation team.
Monitor quality of information and investigate discrepancies
Liaise with hotels, providing clear guidance regarding payment procedure.
Following pre-determined escalation procedures to highlight and provide feedback to hotels not following the agreed procedure
Coordination with internal management to escalate issues of a technical and business nature
Ensuring integrity of AS400 database, data accuracy and standardization across different suppliers / chains.
Provide feedback to facilitate creation of best practice guidelines pertaining to data loading for Dynamic Inventory in general, making recommendations for procedural or database changes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience / working knowledge gained within the industry, hotel or online travel industry preferred.
Previous experience of dealing with hotels, or accommodation providers highly regarded
Strong administrative and organisation skills
Ability to work well under pressure, adhering to deadlines as necessary
Problem solver, ability to prioritise whilst retaining focus on multiple ongoing projects
Proactive logical thinker, methodical and with attention to detail
Ability to work independently on own initiative, or as part of a team
AS400 knowledge disirable
