PM study plan
In the sophomore year, every students must take the pm course as their major subject. Initially, I did not know anything about this class before such as the lesson, time, and number of classes I need to attend. Therefore, I need to set up the study plan that suit me, in order to succeed studying this subject.
To begin with, in the very beginning I thought this curriculum will be as easy as the introduction to business class that I used to take when I was in the freshmen year. In contrast, in the very first class when I met with Aj.jongpit and she handed us the course sellbus we were so shock with the number of chapters that we need to cover before taking the midterm exam.
I had to admit that when I got the cross sellbus, I did not care what it wrote on that paper at all, actually I did not even read it to be honest, because I do not think I will read the book in advance anyway. However, that was the terrible idea because I found out that I need to read all seven chapter, which is 250 pages, in 2 weeks. At that time when I noticed that, I was going to cry because I do not know if I can finished it on time or not. Since that day, I started to realize more about how cucial it is to set up a plan for my study.
There are several methods that I utilize in my study plan. Firstly, I start with reading through the course cellbus in every details in order to know what direction I need to go when reading a textbook. After reading the course sellbus, I will note down the member of pages in each chapter that I need to read, in an intention to stimulate myself to read a textbook all the time. Well, that is work for me, I start to read a book more since then. Secondly, i will always remind myself to pay attention in the class, and try to understand it all when Aj give the lecture so that I do not have to do a lot of reading before the exam. For example, I usually get distracted by my cell phone a lot during the lecture, sometimes I cannot control myself to go on Facebook or the internet. Thereby, I will always thinki about my parents when I will play on my phone or talk to others during studying, in order to remind myself that my parents have hope on me and they need me to be success. As a result, I become more responsible and enthusiastic than ever before.
I try to create a time chart of my current activities so that I can see a big picture of what I will do in each time period such as doing sports, hanging out with friends or studying. Once I have noted all the activities down, I will find the time which I can devote to review the lesson. I usually spend an hour a day or even thirty mintues to reviewing what I have learnt today in the class, and sometimes take a short note to make it more precise. After I find an available time to study, I will note in the carlendar so that I will not forget to do it. However, when I have the pop-up quiz or any activities during a week, I may alter my reviewing sechdual in order to do those activities secessfully without worrying about the reading that I need to do. It seems like this method help me a lot when I have to take the exam because I do not need to spend much time too read the whole things again. Then I will determine my study goals by asking myself a questions for instance, Why do I need to study this subject?, Am I preparing for the exam? Or Do I want to improve my grade? So that I can be more active.
The most importantly thing is to stick to the schedule because study plan will work best when I follow it a consistent basis.
After a while, I can notice that there are an abundance of advatages of making a study plan for studying. Firstly, I become more responsible and organize. For instance, before I think about making the study plan I had never had the specific time to read. On the other hand, when I set up the sechdual to review the lesson, I need to find and organize time when I am available for the reading. Secondly, enhance knowledge,
