The first ADHD-Q assessment (parent, teacher, and self-report) was administered
as part of the standard intake procedure (i.e., baseline assessment). In
case the intake indicated that the child suffered from ADHD, the assessment was repeated just before the first visit to the psychiatrist who prescribed the stimulant
medication (i.e., pre-intervention assessment) and who supervised the treatment
during weekly sessions. On average, about eight weeks elapsed between these two
assessments. Four weeks after the start of the stimulant medication intervention
(methylphenidate, dosage range 0.3 to 0.6 mg/kg, divided in two doses per day),
a final assessment of ADHD-Q took place (i.e., post-intervention assessment). On
