It observed from different sets of experiments that the yields of
the dye extract were better in 10% aqueous methanol. The efficiency
of solvent extraction in laboratory scale is supported by our
repeated experiments with the recovered solvent. The recovered
solvent 85e90% subsequently recycled in all our experiments. The
minor loss of solvent would have negligible effect on eco-efficiency.
