In location-based mobile learning environment, there
could be deviations between the pre-defined location-based
learning contents and the corresponded real life learning
objects. For example, the rendered 2D/3D learning contents
may have the differences of appearances from the real world
objects. This could lead confusion and misunderstanding to
learners and defeat the advantages of location-based
learning. A system called Multi-Object Oriented Augmented
Reality (MOOAR) was proposed for location-based
adaptive mobile learning environment, which implemented
AR as the main technical approach to provide interactive
learning contents and navigate learners through learning
objects. The MOOAR system aims to eliminate the
deviations and increase the interaction among learners,
learning objects and contents in order to enhance the
learning performance.
