Some authors have described the benefits that HPLC coupled to
MS/MS present in terms of wider scope, increased sensitivity and
better selectivity [130] for pesticide analysis. For this reason in other
fields suchas food safety, the development of multiresidue pesticide
residue methods by LC–MS/MS has become essential in order to
achieve higher sensitivity and specificity and confirmatory procedures
[130–134]. However, few methods have been developed and
validated for multiresidue analysis of pesticides in environmental
air samples.
