2.7. Total phenolics content
The total phenolics content in tomato juice samples was determined by adopting Folin-Ciocalteu assay method . Results were calculated on fresh weight basis (f.w.) as mg Gallic acid equivalents (GAE) per gram of sample (absorbance was measured using Shimadzu UV-160A Spectrophotometer, Kyoto, Japan at 765 nm).
