Hi Nicky! (Cute! How did that come about?)
Yes, I would have to agree, that's probably the best solution to this situation.
Like now, I am dead tired from 3 days of tennis, in the warm Sun, and am just quickly replying to you before I pass out! 555!
It is the end of a Summer here, the weather will be warm for another month or so, but then, ever so slowly, cool down week by week, and then, our rainy season starts (we all hope! California is in a drought right now, and last year's rainy season did not leave enough snow on the mountains to give us run-off for agriculture, etc.)
I generally like the Fall season, the trees die and the color of the leaves change, etc.
There is a cool briskness to the air too.
Perhaps, you've experienced that outside of Bangkok?
Have you travelled out of country? If so, where and when?
When it rains there, is the Sun totally blocked? Or, is it like the tropics, where it rains now and then, but the Sun dries everything up again shortly?
It seems the only time I ever visit Thailand is in December or January.
While still too hot for me, I do not recall it raining then much?
Anyway, sleepy-head, this sleepy-head needs to stretch and then go to bed!
TTYL!
J.
P.s. Thanks for the invite, but I am not much of a "joiner." No Facebook, no Linked, no nothing!
