I’ve had some report of problems with conference calls with Lync between Australia and Thailand.
I’ve done some basic coms testing between Aus and Thailand but I cannot do any real time based analysis.
My first question is just to confirm my understanding of the Lync traffic on our network.
All Lync traffic channels to Lync Server in the US over our MPLS connections correct?
As long as all parties are in Houghton offices the various internet connections available do not come into the equation?
From memory Lync and Voice traffic is prioritized on our internal network correct?
Can I as SRC to check if there has been any excessive packet loss between Aus-US-Thailand?
Is there anything I can do locally to check or improve Lync communications?
