2.3. CWAO reactor
A Hastelloy high-pressure autoclave engineers (Dalian, China) with a volume of 1000 ml was used for the CWAO process to treat the wastewater. The reactor was equipped with electrically heated jacket, a turbine agitator and a variable speed magnetic drive. The temperature and the stirring speeding were controlled by means of a proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller. The gas inlet, cooling water feed line, pressure gauge and rupture disk were situated on the top of the reaction vessel.
Supplied with 200 ml samples, experiments in such WAO reactor were carried out at temperatures from 210 to 270 °C and superfluous oxygen with CuO/Al2O3 as catalyst for 1.0 h.
