Determination of surface area of N. muscorum
The surface area of the biosorbent N. muscorum was calculated,
and instead of equating the methylene blue binding with
the surface area, the protein of the biomass was equated with
surface area. It was found that 1.0 mg protein is approximately
equal to 32.98 cm2 surface area of the biomass.
