3.3. Effect of initial dye concentration effect on the bioremoval studies
To investigate the effect of increasing dye concentrations on the uptake yield by three isolated bacteria, four different concentrations (28.7–97.9 mg/L) were tested in molasses medium during three days incubation time. Fig. 1 shows the removal of dye during the incubation time by B. megaterium, M. luteus and B. pumilus. It isseen in the figure that, B. megaterium cells could tolerate 28.7, 57.9,78.3 dye concentrations nearly about 50% removal yield. The ratio decreased to 31.7% when initial dye concentration was increasedup to 97.9 mg/L.
For M. luteus bacteria, the bioremoval of RB decreased when the initial dye concentration was increased, the cells could tolerate the lowest dye concentration at third day of incubation time with the yield of 75%. The lowest removal yields was obtained as 23.7 in the presence of 97.9 mg/L RB. The bioremoval of highest RB concentration decreased when the initial dye concentration was increased for B. megaterium and M. luteus. On the other hand B. pumilus could tolerate all tested dye concentrations nearly with the same yield. I tis seen in the figure that at the end of three days incubation time Fig
