Dear Fellow Colleagues In Bangkok Office,
There have been a lot of questions raised over on the upcoming BKK City "Shut down" planned by the protesters from 13 January 2014 onwards and how this may affect Company's operations.
TET management and security team have meet and discussed, and based on the available information, we would like to advise all that Company will continue to operate as normal.
Please note that :
Several major intersections within the city, including Lad Prao Intersection, have been targeted as the protest sites.
The presence of the protestors, with possible blockade at the Lad Prao intersection, will inevitably cause disruption to the traffic flow around the office.
Based on the information we have at present, the Mass Rapid Transport system like BTS sky train and MRT underground will continue to operate, in addition to the other public transport service like bus.
We therefore advise all staf, where possible, to avoid using personal car to commute to work, especially on 13 and 14 January 2014, and to use BTS or MRT instead.
In anticipation of this scenario, TET will provide additional shuttle van to and from Mor Chit Station in the morning as well as in the evening.
Company will also reimburse all staff any additional parking cost incurred.
In addition, we will also set up hot line number 13 January 2014 onwards. This hotline shall be for the purpose of reporting in case of any difficulty in commuting to work, or getting advice about the alternative route(s) to come to the office.
HOT LINE NUMBER : 02 610 4109 (operating hours 0630 hrs till 1000 hrs)
TET Security will continue to communicate to all via emails and/or corporate SMS for any further updates or development in the coming days.
