The aim of this Letter is to see whether the modified Friedmann
equations coming from logarithmic corrections and from
power-law corrections, in conjunction with Clausius relation or the
equipartition principle, are compatible with the generalized second
law. This will set constraints on the parameter α introduced
above, whose value is theory dependent and rather uncertain. We
hope this may be of help in discriminating among quantum corrections,
via a purely classical analysis
