Track Shoes Types
The track shoes can be customized to a variety of underfoot conditions. There are four types of track shoes.
Single grouser shoes (1) are all-purpose shoes recommended for general application.
Extreme service shoes (2) are single grouser shoes made with hardened wear material. This type of shoe is recommended for applications with large amounts of debris that pack in the track (i.e. landfills)
Multi grouser shoes (3) consist of two short grousers instead of one tall grouser. This type of shoe is recommended for applications that require less penetration and traction, better turning capability, and less ground disturbances (i.e. sand).
Chopper shoes (4) are made up of a full-length front grouser to resist bending, a diagonal side grouser for increased chopping, and a trapezoidal center hole for material extrusion. This type of shoe is recommended for demolition applications.
