FN Factory Outlet Co seeks to become a regional player with plans to open outlets in neighbouring countries in the next three to five years.
The expansion by the operator of FN fashion outlets may be in the form of joint ventures, franchise operations or its own investment, chief executive Benyiam Songwatana said.
"People in neighbouring countries have similar shopping habits to Thais — they like to shop at outlets where fashion products are cheaper than in regular malls," he said, adding that the FN brand was strong enough to expand throughout Asean.
The company has met with potential investors in neighbouring countries, and an agreement will be sealed when it is ready with its new store and inventory management system, Mr Benyiam said.
