At 9.00 Am., Prof. Kojiro Suzuki from Faculty of Regional Environmental Science, took us to Futako-Tamagawa shopping center. On the way, he explained about an important problem of land in Tokyo. The hopping center far from university about 5 to 6 km. We used train to get there. At the top of shopping mall, there is a small garden which conserved local plants along Tama River. There are also the pictures and show case of local animal species lived in the area of Tama river. Inthe afternoon section, it was divided into two parts of lecture. First, we studied on "Education and Research for Sustainable Agricultural Landscape and Satoyama landscape Conservation by Collaboration with Tokyo University of Agriculture and Samegawa Village in Fukushima Prefecture "lectured by Assoc.
