Mental illnesses are another great danger people with stress have to face. These people are prone to develop great anxiety and depression. Research has proven that stress and mental health problems are tightly related. In American Psychological Association’s “Stress in America” report, 2010, it is revealed that overload stress can lead to memory problems, inability to concentrate, constant worrying, moodiness, and some negative behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse and overeating or undereating. These symptoms in tandem with negativity as mentioned earlier can ultimately lead to a number of life-threatening physical illnesses.
