The feeding profiles used for the addition of nitrogen, carbon and calcium to the bioreactor were able to keep
the optimum nutrient balance throughout the all bioreaction (Figure 5(b)): at the end of the growth phase only
residual levels of glucose and low nitrogen concentration were present in the culture media; during all the feed-ing phase both glucose and nitrogen levels were kept below 20 g∙L−1and 900 mg∙L−1, respectively (Figure 5(a));
