First, this study relied on statistical analysis to evaluate both user task performance and subjective satisfaction with the tactile experience, addressing the limitations of an interpretative analysis of audio or video data. However, as mentioned in Section 5, it is unclear whether any unique pre/post-interaction occurred across conditions based on the limited observations made. In addition, the survey-based self-report method cannot rule out the possibility of inherent validity problems, in which the respondents might exaggerate their attitudes in order to boast about their skills, or under-report feelings in order to minimize their problems. Thus, a more balanced evaluation method should be implemented in future studies by adopting both quantitative and qualitative evaluation strategies.
