Any errors found in step #2 are probably due to a slightly different mounting location of the transmitter versus what is described by the dimensions given in the pre-lab. This discrepancy should only result in a zero error. Yokogawa has included an option with their pressure transmitters that allows the user to compensate for zero errors while at the same time leaving the transmitter span untouched.
