3.1. Microstructure characterization of the hydrated glass
Fig. 2 shows the XRD patterns of the samples dried at different temperatures. The XRD pattern of the sample dried at 60 °C shows a broad diffraction peak centered at ~ 30°(2θ), indicating a typical amorphous phase [10]. There is no change in peak locations when the drying temperature ranges from 60 to 200 °C. The only change of the broad diffraction peaks around 30°(2θ) is becoming thinner along with the increasing drying temperature, but the structure is still amorphous.
