To begin our examination of the consequences of ICWs, we provide sample composition details by fiscal year and industry in Table 2. In Table 3, we provide descriptive statistics for the variables used in the logit and hazard model analyses that predict the probability of relationship termination. We observe that 13.4 percent of customer-supplier relationships end in the following year (Rel_Stop).11 Suppliers report ICWs in 10.7 percent of firm-years (i.e., ICW =1 in 389 of the 3,623 sample firm-years).
