The average human being goes through roughly ten to the sixteenth cell divisions in a lifetime, i.e. ten to the sixteenth times in your body there will be cells that divide, grow and divide. Every day in your body there are roughly ten to the eleventh cells that grow and divide. Think of that, ten to the eleventh. And you can divide that by the number of minutes in a day and come up with an astounding degree of cellular replication going on.
