People in the SPN fandom like a victim. They like to play victim, they like to root for the victim and hold a victim up high. So a candle light vigil for Jared for them is more important that celebrating something good for Jensen. Also as much as they try they can't make Jensen and Danneel's twins about Jared in a real way, so that's another strike against any support or love for Jensen or his kids.

I don’t think it’s just about victim complex anon, there is a definite, observable disparity in how this fandom treats Jensen v/s how it treats Jared/Misha. It’s not just about the candles, remember, Jared fans held up a convention that one time just to praise Jared (and Sam) for like ten minutes and completely ignored Jensen while doing so.
Now, I’m happy that at least someone had the courtesy to offer congrats to Jensen in the main panel, but look at the real question asked. Jared was asked about his reaction after finding about the twins. Jared was asked a question about the twins, not Jensen. No one asked Jensen about how he felt or what he thought when he received the news about his kids. If that is not a clear sign of dismissal, if that is not a sign of “what you say don’t matter Jensen” then I don’t know what else is. It’s always how it is in these conventions –Jared and Misha often get substantial, character related, charity related questions. Jensen gets superficial, “lift your shirt up and do a strip-tease for us” type of questions.
Fun fact: You are so right on certain fans making everything about Jared. We got lectured not to complain about lack of support or love for Jensen. There were so many tweets about boundaries and personal lives and being sick of baby-related questions around. Now, since Jared was asked the question, since Jared got to talk about the twins while Jensen sat silent, since these fans can make it all about Jared, the general consensus has suddenly gone from “being disrespectful” to “aww cute” .
