2.2. Preparation of PGPs
The PGPs were prepared according to the method described by
Yao et al. with slight modifications [8]. Briefly, peach gum was
soaked in distilled water at ∼60 ◦C for 24 h and homogenized in a
blender (GuangzhouAoyu of Electronic Science and Technology Co.,
Ltd, Guangzhou Province, China) to yield a suspension with 1% concentration
(w/v). H2O2 (4%) were poured into a reactor containing
500 mL of peach gum suspension, and the reactor was maintained
in a thermostatic water bath at 55 ◦C for 8 h
