For the pre-service teachers, the questionnaire was provided as an online version. Pre-service teachers were recruited through calls in theory courses, which accompany their practical training, and asked to participate in an online survey on the goals of pre-service teachers. Participation was voluntary and not reimbursed. For the professional teachers, we used the printed version of the questionnaire. Six hundred and thirty-five questionnaires including a stamped return envelope were sent to schools. Of the questionnaires sent by mail, 222 questionnaires were returned fully completed, representing a response rate of 35%.
