Research Interview
An in-depth interview was carried out to solicit views among home buyers of: specific
perceived risks, anticipated and experienced regret, CFT and dissatisfaction. In the four
cities, some 80 interviewees reported their worries about a variety of probable losses they
anticipated in the pre-purchase stage and their post-purchase experiences. The interview
results served as a guide to the design of the questionnaire and a preliminary verification of
the proposed model.
