2.8.1.4. Milling, c irradiation and autoclaving pretreatment. Ten
grams of chipped and ground bagasse exposed to different
doses of c radiation were put into a 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask
and moistened with distilled water, then autoclaved at 121 C
and 1.5 bars for 20 min, after autoclaving, the flask contents
were extracted, filtered and TRS was determined by the
DNS method as listed before.
