People are talkative animals. We do a lot of talking-asking, answering, telling , and saying. But we do much of our talking without words. We often use a kind of "body language" to show what we think or feel. This body language is the language of gestures. We point a finger, raise and eyebrow, wave an arm - - or move another part of the body - - to show that we want to say. In other words, "talk" with these gestures. And we make hundreds of these gestures in a day.
