In conclusion,our findings indicate that in obese women the
CP sway characteristics and the anterior stability limits are
Differentially affected by increased body mass. In these subjects,
the increase of body mass resulted in a functional adaptation of
the control of the erect posture.It was characterized by a reduced
postural sway.This suggests that their postural balance may be
well preserved.A substantial deterioration of the anterior stability
border was only observed in advanced obesity i.e.,in subjects with
BMI>40.
