Thank you, Miss Panadda Rimtrakul. In this part, I will explain coconut and Thai culture. Thai people have long been affiliated with coconuts especially for their great versatile uses of their different parts. Undoubtedly, coconuts are part of Thai culture and life style from the past until today. Coconuts are considered a member of the Palm tree family, a monocotyledon which only grows upward and does not branch horizontally. It’s a perennial plant that has a long life span. For the tall variety, a coconut tree can last more than a hundred years old. On the other hand, the short variety lives to about 40 years old. Coconut trees grow well in the central provinces especially in Amphoe Nakorn Chaisri and Amphoe Nakorn Pathom. I’ve finished explaining about coconut and Thai culture. Next, Miss Warunee Sringoen will present the second main point of our presentation.
