Thank you for your additional input. As I see from the reagents (powders) you are using that you are referring to an old analysis procedure which we had in our PIBs many years ago. In this PIBs the make up for indicators was mentioned as:
Pyrocatechol violet: (0.09 g/ 100 mL)
Sodium hydroxide solution (0.1-0.2%)
