Generally, (JSU, 2013) human’s social environment is ever-changing in nature. It is affected by many contributing factors such as social factors or cultural factors. However, certain societies have particular factors that accelerate changes to the social environment, which are the economic factors. Tourism is an essential industry to a society’s economy. Therefore, tourism is a main reason that a society changes.
Crimes, this problem arises in urban societies. The society undergoes rapid changes. Better economic condition leads to higher living costs. There is still, however, a portion of the people who do not receive an increase in income. This translates to the inequality. Furthermore, there is an influx of foreign workers. As such, social issues like burglary and theft targeted on locals and tourists escalate.
The behaviors of which the natural tourist attractions are utilized are limited. There is a finite capacity to each tourist attraction. For an example, tourists driving onto grassland, camping on natural sites, or the use of chemicals to maintain the golf course. The problems arisen are as an example of the decline in the condition of the resources and pollution problem. The condition of the tourist attraction is worsened and dirtied with garbage and trash. The environment loses its natural balance, leading to ecological and pollution problems. Biodiversity of flora and fauna is destroyed, water sources are contaminated, and the air is polluted. These things have effects on each other. We can see an example in Europe where many countries have suffered flood in many cities in 2002.
