(table 2). As shown in fig 1, the patients with congestive heart
failure showed the same pattern of reduced quality of life as
patients on chronic haemodialysis. In contrast, patients with
chronic hepatitis C had higher scores in physical functioning,
role functioning physical, and general health than the heart
failure population (table 2). Thus the pattern of reduced qual-ity of life in patients with chronic hepatitis C was significantly
different from that in the heart failure sample (fig 1)
