Folktales and Folklore have had a major role in the shaping of Thai culture. Thai (Chakchak Wongwong). In Thai folklore about animals, it is normally concerned with the life of rural area people, friendship, love, and magic. In the Chakchak Wongwong tales, the story is always about the heartbreaker, jealousy, anger, family relationship, and battles between enemies. Creation myths are also an important component of folklore in Thailand. They are based on nature and spirits connected with agriculture, and cultivation. There are also about village and ancestor spirits with the emphasis on natural elements. Some of Thai folklore appears in Children’s games, popular comic book, television shows, and movie.
