2.3. Characterization of catalyst
2.3.1. FTIR analysis
The qualitative analysis of the sample was done using FTIR
spectroscopy technique. Thermo Scientific (Model: Nicolet IS5)
combined with Omnic software was employed to analyze the
sample.
2.3.2. XRD analysis
The crystalline phases present in synthesized catalysts were
identified using an X-ray diffraction technique. RigakuUltima III
X-ray Diffractometer with Cu Ka radiation (k = 1.54 Å) operated
at 30 mA and 40 kV, has been used in the tests, while the Rigaku
software was employed to analyze the generated diffractogram.
Goniometer used was Ultima III theta-theta goniometer.
2.3.3. SEM analysis
Scanning Electron Microscopy was done to study the morphology
and size of the catalysts using TESCAN-VEGA SBH operating at
5 kV. The magnification was varied from 100 to 10000 and the
images were obtained and processed using the VEGA3 software
