Children have acquired the basic structures of the language or languages spoken to them in these early years.Three and four year olds continue to learn vocabulary at the rate of several words a day. They begin to acquired less frequent and more complex linguistic structures.
Children talks a great deal and curiosity leads them to ask many questions. During the fourth and fifth year, they becomes a more independent, more self-reliant, more socially adept child who is aware of himself as part of an expanding social circle of relatives, friends and peers at preschool.
• Understands the concepts of “same” and “different” words.
