Would you like to see our daily specials? The Germany office of the Canadian Tourism Commission(CTC) has acted as waiter and sommelier to highlight Canada’s culinary and lifestyle stories to German media in three major cities.
The events, which took place in late October in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, highlighted Canada as a premier four-season destination and drew more than 100 German journalists, bloggers, photographers and broadcasters. Each evening began with presentations by CTC-Germany and partners, highlighting the major events coming up in Canada in 2015.
Then came the main dish: a four-course culinary tour of Canada, with partners rotating between tables for more personal networking. Tickling German taste buds were plates of bison carpaccio, Atlantic lobster, roast halibut and roast beef, accompanied by Canadian wines plus Penticton Punch & Maple Sour.
