Waterproof jacket with hood. Trousers or track suit bottoms. Jeans are too heavy when wet. Stout shoes;take walking boots if you intend to do a lot of walking. Woolly socks,four pairs;wear two pairs with walking shoes. Jumpers,two of medium thickness,and preferably made of wool. Woolly hat;can be worn in bed if it is really cold. T-shirt,three;very useful in any weather and easy to wash. Wear at night to save taking pyjamas. Short. Sandals; good for messing about. Sun hat;important in hot sun.
