Since Wikipedia entries can be written and edited by any user registered at the site, its accuracy should obviously not be completely trusted. If one users other reputable sources in addition to Wikipedia, however, it can often be a starting point for further research on a topic. Just don't depend on it exclusively when researching a topic, and be sure to verify content read there before quoting it as fact.
