However, clouds, overlapping and non-overlapping areas must be processed independently, so a thematic layer partitioning the scene into homogenous zones representing these areas was created. This layer and the multi-temporal Tasseled Cap bands were input to the eCognition segmentation algorithm that derives polygons (object primitives).
