Only four RFF issues were identified and processed during the three-month test period. Of these, one was a Type A issue and the remaining three were Type B. Each issue was processed using the new milestone due dates and three of the four closed within the new shortened process time. The only one to close overdue was the safety issue; this was attributed to the delay in the revised part design finalization. Although the average time needed to close RFF issues remained statistically consistent, declining slightly from 96.6% of allotted time to 98.2%, the average number of days open improved significantly. The Type A issue showed a 28.5% and the Type B issues a 19.2% improvement in process time:
