The antioxidant activity by DPPH radical scavenging method, expressed by the concentration of extract to inhibit 50% of stable free radical (IC50), effect of KGD rice bran in the difference conditions by hot air drying on DPPH radical scavenging activity are shown in Table 2. Stabilized of KGD rice bran had DPPH free radical-scavenging (IC50 6.33-6.61 mg/ml) higher than that of non-stabilization KGD rice bran (p < 0.05). At 125°C for 10 min shown highest IC50 (p < 0.05). Loypimai and others (2009) reported that raw rice bran has lower than stabilized rice bran for all treatments by ohmic heating. The result indicated that the KGD rice bran with stabilized with hot air drying appeared to decrease the antioxidants activity than KGD non-stabilized rice bran.
