The paper presents a robust control strategy with ANN
flux estimator for a position sensorless SPMSM drive which
is capable to produce very fast dynamic response. Simulation
results show that the proposed drive is able to deliver
accurate estimation of flux and position both in steady-state
and transient conditions. Simulation results show that the
proposed control scheme is sufficiently stable and is robust to
load disturbance and parameter variations. Very fast response
of the system without oscillation indicates the effectiveness
of the proposed control scheme.
