The product of their union, Kinh Duong, in turn married the daughter of the Dragon Lord of the Sea. Their son, Lac Long Quan or ‘Dragon Lord of Lac’, is considered to be the first Vietnamese king. To maintain peace with their powerful neighbours, the Chinese – a theme constant throughout Viet history – Lac Long Quan married Au Co, yet another Chinese immortal, who bore him 100 sons.
